The house shown in this image was built for August Oppatt and wife Wilhemina during the late 19th to early 20th centuries. It stood on State Highway, next to the Sanson service station _(see also MAN:200). _The style of the home is unusual for a house of this period, and may reflect the family's ethnic background.
