"Fly away for Labour Day"is the theme of this travelwear display promoted by John Cobbe and Co. for National Airways Corporation. The colour scheme is two shades of blue with a dash of red and white. A cut out map of New Zealand showing the main ariports and travel lanes is featured. Travel postersand pamphlets are generously distributed amongst the merchandise.
The shooting season promoted this window. On either side of the painted background which was framed with crinkled green foil were squares of green and yellow card. Various styles of wind-breakers, lumber jackets and caps were shown. Grass mats were on the floor and many shooting accessories were incorporated in the display.
Simplicity is the keynote of this display. Pastel toned shirts are geometrically arranged on a board covered with brght red and green squares. The background is of wood paper and the floora natural shade. A Father Xmas head, silver tinsel and the show card give the festive atmosphere
