Description

Crowds gather for the unveiling of the Mt Stewart Reserve Centennial Memorial, in 1940. The memorial was erected as part of the national centennial celebrations for the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) in 1840.

Mt Stewart Reserve is located on the corner of SH 3 and Mt Stewart Halcombe Road.
