Feilding Herald December 7th 1971 - Permission has been given for car racing track. The Manawatu Car Club is propsing to establish this international car racing track on land situated in KawaKawa Road. The car club owns 24 acres of the land the balance belongs to three other owners, the Feilding Jockey Club, Feilding Industrial, Agricultural and Pastoral Association and the Roman Catholic Church
