In 1921, a ceremony for the laying of the foundation stone of Feilding Agricultural High School was held. Later that year, a brick building featuring four classrooms and a chemistry lab was completed, marking the birth of the school. According to the school website, Mr. Tolley was instrumental in the completion of the school. He died just ten years later, in 1931.
