The Bunnythorpe Railway Station was built in 1957, and demolished in 1975. The original station was built much earlier in 1875.

The building under construction is the Post Office, which opened for business in June 1959. To the left is the Bunnythorpe Hall and beyond this is the old Post Office. The double storey building which can be partially seen to the far left is the Bunnythorpe Hotel.
