The Makino Butter Factory was established in 1883, under the ownership of William Wescombe Corpe. This photo shows staff outside the factory, believed to have been taken in 1900. In 1903, the factory was sold to Joseph Nathan & Co.

This post card depicts the Feilding Post Office (background) and the Band Rotunda in The Square (foreground). The publisher and date of the card is unknown, but is thought to be early 1900's.
