The building shown in this image was the first purpose built public library in Feilding, and was situated on Stafford Street next to the Council Offices. It was built in 1905 for £700, and was demolished in 1982 after the new library building was opened in September 1980.
As of 2012, the site is currently occupied by a KFC outlet.
