The home stood on State Highway One next to the Sanson service station (See also MAN:200) Details checked by Del Parker from long term Sanson residents. The house would have been built for August Oppatt and his wife Wilhemina in the late 19th/early 20th centuries. It is a most unusual style for a house of the period and may reflect Oppatt's ethnic background.
