The earliest records show that first production was staged at the Feilding Community Centre in 1938. Theatre has been an integral part of the Feilding community ever since. This was most evident in 1950 when the existing building was condemned. The whole community was galvanized into action to save the theatre and they raised funds to almost completely replace the building.
Feilding Library is situated on the corner of Bowen & Stafford Streets. Feilding's new municipal library was opened on saturday afternoon, September 27th, 1980 by the Mayor Mr G H Corrick. The Feilding Library has had 5 moves since 1879 when Mr Peter Thomson toured the new settlement and raised 15 pounds as funds to start the library. The first location was at: Immigration Barracks 1881-Kimbolton Road (Jockey Club) 1883 - Manchester Street (Old Bank of New South Wales). Then in 1895 the library moved behind the council offices on the corner of Kimbolton Road and Staffords Streets.
